As previously announced, here is more of a sneak peak into my latest project : a collection of ink portraits inspired by famous (or more likely infamous) Americans.
For example in the frame up top we have Sam Bass, an ambitious western outlaw known for robbing trains and stagecoaches throughout the U.S in the late 1800's.
Below him with the deranged stare is the lovely Lizzy Borden, the New England debutant known for the alleged killing of her parents with an axe in 1892.
After her is Emma Goldman, one of the pivotal activists in the development of Western Anarchy, who remained a enemy to the state well into her senior years.
Finally at the bottom is the beloved Buffalo Bill, who grew to fame massacring buffalo for the US government then solidified his success putting on grand Wild West Shows and helping
found Cody, Wyoming.
I plan to make a bunch of these, frame them in pretty black frames
and hang these somewhere around town for all to see,
so stay tuned for more!
