Client : Pepper Proud, West Virginian folk singer Design Solution : When I heard that the venue was named "The Sunset", record albums from the 70's were the first images to come to mind so I ran with that idea including hand drawn graphics to suit the era and conjure romantic nostalgia. |

Client : Collection of female folk singers Design Solution : The venue being a masonic hall led me to illustration of the hand, a symbol of the Odd Fellows and used as the main inspiration. The client also wanted a mention of her brother's birthday in there somewhere since that was part of the event, so in my attempt to throw that in I fell in love with the idea of including secret symbols in honor of masonry. Note, the silhouette head in the framing that eludes to the singer Meredith Kaye Clark's role as the Wicked witch on broadway. |

Client : Collection of Singer/Songwriters Design Solution : This event was being paired with a birthday of a mutual friend so we decided to make the whole poster in honor of her using her favorite color and a photo that discretely has her in it. |
