So this summer an unexpected but delightful thing happened when I fell into the world of Sign Painting. It all started when the coffeeshop I was working at part time commissioned me to do a quick A-Frame to alert passers by to the delicious coffee inside. They bought me some brushes and house paint and in an hour or so of work I had a pretty sign and a new love. Sign painting combined so many of my favorite things : painting, typography, color and craft, so from there I took the ball rolled with it, and all summer I've been painting up a storm of letters and logos that I also got the pleasure of designing.
